About
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist licensed in the State of New York and in private practice. As a lifelong student of meaning and mystery, I come to this work with reverence for the inner life. My formation as a therapist has been shaped by well over a decade of engagement with depth psychology, the sacred feminine, and my own embodied path through the complex landscape of motherhood, grief, and transformation. I concieve of therapy as a modern rite of passage—a place where we come to shed skins and emerge anew.
I hold a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York and a Bachelors of Art in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota. I did my post graduate Jungian training at the Chiron Institute in Minneapolis. Born and raised in Ireland, I now live with my husband and two sons in New York.
Work with me
Weekly therapy sessions allow a confidential held space for you to turn towards what is arising in you. This is for people at the threshold of change to deepen intimacy with themselves and their lives.
My approach
In one on one psychotherapy, I work intuitively to support a deepening of trust as we traverse the inner landscape of your psyche. There is space for your unfolding, honoring the slow, sacred process of remembering who you are beneath the roles and beliefs that you've depended upon to stay safe. This isn't about simply shifting your mindset, but a deeper kind of healing—one that honours your voice, your body, your unconscious wisdom, and the parts of you that have been silenced, hidden or exiled, and in turn creating loving conditions for these parts to return and be felt and expressed.
In our sessions, we will move gently and intentionally, attuning to both what’s painful and what’s emerging. We may explore dreams, relational patterns, and the stories held in your nervous system. We may also draw on archetypes, myths, and symbols that mirror your inner journey. In doing so we'll explore the deeper patterns that have shaped you—not to pathologize, but to understand, to grieve, and to transform.
My work is rooted in:
Post-Jungian & Relational Psychoanalytic Theory – honoring the unconscious, your relational history, and the symbolic life of dreams, fantasies and archetypes.
Feminine Psychology & Depth Work – exploring the unique inner life of women, especially in times of transition, wounding, or awakening.
Contemplative and Somatic Practices – helping you feel safe in your body, reconnect with your intuition, and ground healing in the here-and-now.
Issues I specialize in supporting women through:
Codependency and people-pleasing
Perfectionism and burnout
Motherhood and identity shifts (matrescence)

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, if you live in New York State I can provide a monthly “superbill” that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits.
Please verify your benefits by asking:
Does my plan cover out-of-network mental health or behavioral health services?
What is my deductible, and has it been met?
What is the reimbursement rate for each session?
Please note, insurers typically require a mental health diagnosis to reimburse for services which I can provide.

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what is bringing you in, what you're longing for and any questions you have about therapy. We will begin drafting a sketch of your history and biography that we will continue to fill in over the following sessions.

This depends on your individual desires and needs. Some people come wishing to have support through a specific life transition while others desire deeper, ongoing work to unravel trauma and heal attachment wounds through relational work.
Ultimately, it is your role to decide when therapy feels complete. I believe that the individuation process (becoming more fully oneself) is a lifelong process. I invite you to have this conversation with me as time goes on and to explore together when you’re feeling ready to move on.
